Caps Lock No More!
May 4, 2008 by mikekochansky

One thing that used to annoy me while typing was hitting the “caps lock” key every time I was going for the the “A” key. I am a sloppy typer, so this happened very often. I find this especially easy to do with the way the keys are laid out on my MacBook Pro, and the fact that you barely have to hit the keys to get them to respond. This is by no means a complaint about Apple and their keyboards.
Almost immediately after I got my Mac, I was looking for a fix for this. The answer is plain and simple, but yet most people don’t know it exists.
Simply go into your System Preferences> Keyboard & Mouse> Keyboard> Modifier Keys> Then set the Caps Lock Key to “No Action”
It’s really that easy. I have had my “caps lock” key disabled for about 9 months now, and I’ve never missed it once.

Cool Trick….if I had a mac I’d use it for sure!
